Meet the Teachers

amanda2Amanda Anderson graduated from New York University’s College of Arts and Sciences with a degree in art history and studio art. She accepted the position as head art teacher at the Children’s Garden Studio soon after and was excited to learn that she was able to combine her two passions: children and art. Amanda believes that children of any age can and should be exposed to both the processes of studio art as well as art history. She teaches her art classes as a complete sensory and intellectual experience that is as much guided by the instructor as it is by the students, always focusing on the important fact that art is fun!
